Fugu Truck Reaches Kickstarter Goal, Plans for April 1

The would-be, Asian street food-esque Boston food truck Fugu Truck tells Eater that is has successfully met its fundraising goal on Kickstarter ahead of schedule and therefore plans to debut on April 1. "We are extremely thankful to the Boston community of supporters on making this possible!" says founder Bing Liu via email. The truck has yet to finalize its menu, thought according to the website, dishes could include grilled as well as steamed pork belly buns, chilled ramen shiro miso, konbu-cured King salmon and potstickers. The truck is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday lunches at Northeastern, weekday dinners alternating between the Prudential and Copley Square, and Sundays at the SoWa market.
