$7 Menu at Red Lantern; Sterling's Tomorrow?

BACK BAY - Red Lantern has a new $7 menu available every Monday night with "small bites" dishes from chef Kevin Long. Suggested drink pairings are also $7. On the menu: fried shrimp shu mai with sweet and spicy Chinese mustard, Peking duck spring rolls and pineapple fried rice with bacon, Sriracha and pea pods. [Official Site]

THE BURBS - Yet another Boston area restaurant is expanding beyond the city. What has been Beacon Grille in Woburn is slated to become another iteration of Strega.
