Villa Mexico Lives on As a Pop-up

The now-closed Beacon Hill Mexican favorite Villa Mexico is not licked yet: owner Julie King tells Eater that Villa Mexico will return in pop-up form at Daddy Jones in Somerville's Magoun Sqaure later this month. Also, she continues to work on relocating her restaurant space. She says the pop-up is so that customers "don't get tired of waiting on us because they have been and keep being so supportive." According to a Facebook post about the event, there will be "great food, surprises, new drinks and good Mexican music." Guests can expect four courses of King's cooking paired with Daddy Jones drinks, at 6:30PM and 8:30PM on Wednesday, March 27. For more details or to purchase tickets, see here.
