An upcoming North End restaurant called Quattro will hold a grand opening on March 14 according to a Craigslist job posting. Will a regular opening or soft opening precede the grand opening? Probably, but stay tuned for confirmation. Quattro is a project of DePasquale Ventures, which runs several other neighborhood establishments, including Bricco, Umbria Prime and Mare Oyster Bar. The restaurant, which is headed for the former Il Panino Express space (another DePasquale venture), has previously been called Ristorante Quattro, though the job posting calls it Quattro Grill, Rotisserie and Pizzeria, and the restaurant's website just says Quattro. According to the website, Quattro will be a "modern Italian grill and rotisserie" with spit-roasted meats plus steaks, chops, seafood, wood-fired Neapolitan pizza and handmade pasta.
Update: Quattro is now planning for a March 15 opening.
