The Purple Cactus in JP will reopen today at 11AM and plans to stay open until 5PM this afternoon, blizzard depending. The restaurant's Facebook page and the Jamaica Plain Patch both share that news, and an employee tells Eater that the restaurant, which primarily serves burritos and wraps (which are basically just burritos in flavors like "Thai"), had been closed for the past three weeks for renovations. A source previously said that the new design changes would "improve the flow of the dining room" while the menu would remain unchanged. Per Facebook, there's also new floors. The Purple Cactus first opened its doors in Provincetown in 1993 before relocating to its current location on Centre Street. Additional menu items include quesadillas, nachos, pozole and chili.
