In light of winter storm Nemo, some Boston area bars and restaurants have closed early for the day or simply never opened, which is understandable when the governor declares a state of emergency, as he has. But other establishments choose to remain open. In fact, some even prepare special deals or gimmicks to entice patrons. Sometimes, restaurant staff receive extra compensation or are offered the choice as to whether or not they want to brave the conditions. Other times, they're expected to be there.
So what do you think? Should bars and restaurants stay open during extreme weather? Weigh in via the comments.
