Longtime Brighton steakhouse The Stockyard went dark back in July 2012, but its reopening is now imminent. The restaurant posted the above photo of the renovated interior to Facebook, noting "booths are setup, hd tv's put in, sound system installed.... getting closer to the grand opening date." A member of the staff tells Eater that he can't pin down the exact date yet, but is "hoping to reopen next week if all goes well." Earlier the Globe reported that the new owners, who also run The 21st Amendment and both locations of The Paramount, paid $4 million for the property and "will introduce a new menu and make some cosmetic improvements."
