Aria Trattoria Now Open in The North End

Photo: Melissa Ostrow/UrbanDaddy

What was once Marco is now Aria Trattoria on Hanover Street in the North End. UrbanDaddy says the restaurant has opened for business, and a call to Aria Trattoria confirms that is has been open since Friday, February 1. UrbanDaddy also shares details about the space, noting design and tableware elements such as "white tablecloths, vintage-y mirrors, exposed brick." Per UD's look at the menu, entrees range from $22 to $37 with a three-course tasting menu called Fare un Viaggio going for $55 per person with an optional $30 wine pairing (the whole table has to go in on it). And here's something probably no other restaurant in Boston can say: according to the Aria Trattoria website, chef Massimo Tiberi had the reception for his baptism in a former restaurant on this same spot.
