As things now stand, the lease at Michael Schlow's Financial District flagship restaurant Radius will be up in July, but Schlow tells the Boston Business Journal that he has no intention of closing and would like to stay in his current location if he could. So why the possible July deadline? According to the article, Radius "hit a stumbling block with its landlord, Farley White Interests, in negotiations to extend its lease for five years," and a representative from the firm says "We wish Michael well but we're really looking forward to trying to kickstart something else." If July rolls around and that stumbling block has yet to be removed, Schlow says he would consider relocating under the same name.
