Fifth Best Pizza City; Trouble at The Glass Slipper

BOSTON - Travel + Leisure says that Boston is the 5th best city for pizza in the U.S. Okay, thanks, thought it's actually even better than that, but whatever. However the listicle shouts out Santarpio's and Pizzeria Regina (it's illegal not to) and The Salty Pig and Scampo but not Picco!?! [T+L via Slice]

THEATER DISTRICT - This is not someone's sick fantasy: "the stripper picked up a glass cup and swung it at head of the waitress, who put up her arm, which deflected it to the floor, where it shattered, after which the two women grappled and tumbled to the floor, now covered in broken glass." It happened at The Glass Slipper, says UniversalHUB. [UH]

CAMBRIDGE - DigBoston's beerxpert Heather Vandenengel sits in on the annual craft beer bar owners meeting at beer nerd stronghold Lord Hobo. "It's really a price war—what we're getting charged for beers is getting out of control." [DigBoston]
