There's a new Vietnamese restaurant called Sa Pa near Downtown Crossing, now serving banh mi, pho, noodle salads and more. Kingston Station owner Ky Nguyen tells Eater that he is now operating Sa Pa along with the help of Kingston Station chef Dana Love. Nguyen, a native of Vietnam, says he is aiding Love with his own "Vietnamese influence." He describes the restaurant concept as fast-casual: sandwiches, pho or salads can each be order with sake-cured salmon, braised beef, pork meatballs, ginger-lime chicken or marinated tofu. Sa Pa is open Monday through Friday from 11AM to 3PM. Boston Restaurant Talk notes that this space was formerly a Hot Tomatoes.
