SOUTH END - When the contemporary steakhouse Boston Chops opens on Washington Street, which it may do as early as February 5, there won't be brunch. But, eventually, there will be, says neighborhood blogger BosGuy. He also hears that the restaurant will serve dinner from 5PM to midnight daily, and when that brunch does happen, it will be from 10AM to 3PM on Saturdays and Sundays. [BosGuy]
TV LAND - Tomorrow night on styleBoston, Davio's CEO Steve DiFillippo talks with chef Marcellus Coleman at the new Harvard Square hotspot music venue/restaurant The Sinclair. Here's a very, very short preview. [Official Site]
BRIGHTON - Temporarily defunct steakhouse The Stockyard is on the cusp of reopening. The restaurant's website says a "grand reopening" will take place during the second week of February, which may suggest that a soft-opening will happen even sooner, but that's not yet confirmed: stay tuned. If those flames on the new website are any indication, this incarnation of the restaurant will be edgier than the original, which opened in 1970, but then again that's not saying much.
