Sweetgreen Expansions; 'Elf' and Dinner at Revere Hotel

FORT POINT & CHESTNUT HILL — A press release from sweetgreen, a DC-based "organic, farm-to-table" salad chain, confirms earlier reports that a new location will open in Fort Point. Previously rumored to be headed for 370 Congress St. inside of the Residence Inn, it will actually be at 372 Congress St., adjacent to the hotel. And there will be another new location as well—part of the Chestnut Hill Square development along Route 9. No opening timeline has been announced yet. [Press Release]

THEATRE DISTRICT — The Revere Hotel continues its Reel Chefs dinner and movie series with a showing of Elf on Tuesday, December 17th, accompanied by a three-course small plate dinner by Brendan Pelley of Zebra's Bistro in Medfield. Tickets are $50 and must be purchased in advance; all ages are welcome. [Eventbrite]

KENDALL SQUARE — The Blue Room will hold a lunch on Thursday, December 19th to benefit the DiVilardi Fund, which supports breast cancer patient care at Tufts Medical Center. The three-course meal costs $40, with every cent going to the fund. Buy tickets (or simply donate) online. [Eventbrite]
