The Glynn Hospitality Group has replaced their "Mexian-Irish restaurant and bar," Jose McIntyre's, with Central Wharf Co., which is now open, according to the restaurant's Facebook page. Based on photos posted online, it looks like the menu has items like flatbreads, fried shrimp, shrimp cocktail, and pita chunks with a trio of dips. An early Yelp review describes it as "trying to be the kind of low key bar that has exposed brick, the handmade lightbulbs from the 19th century, and expensive beers," whereas Jose McIntyre's "used to be where you expected cheap beer, loose women, and dance music." Goodbye loose women, hello vintage lightbulbs.
