Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse now has a more casual sibling over in Chestnut Hill. Del Frisco's Grille opened over the weekend at The Street, and menu categories like "Food to Fight Over" and "Ruffage" suggest it's courting a rowdier crowd. There are a few steaks to be found, and those'll run you from $29-$43, but most of the menu is at a lower price point. There are "two-fisted sandwiches" for $14-$17, for example, as well as fish and chips with "darn good tartar sauce" ($14), flatbreads ($12-$14), and "big greens" ($11-$18).
Del Frisco's Grille has ten other locations, including four in Texas. The closest is in New York City. The new Chestnut Hill location is open for weekend brunch, which includes a red velvet Belgian waffle, from 11am-3pm, weekday lunch (11:30am-4pm), and daily dinner (4pm-11pm Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm Saturday, 3pm-10pm Sunday).
