BACK BAY — Bistro du Midi will be closed for renovations from January 1st through January 6th. Once it reopens, a "Passport to Provence" prix-fixe menu will be featured every evening except Saturday through the rest of the month, four courses for $45/person. [Press Release]
HARVARD SQUARE — The current secret burger at Russell House Tavern is absolutely terrifying but probably amazing. According to UrbanDaddy, the bun is made of fried mac and cheese, and there's also a spicy aioli, smoked tomato, onion, and truffle oil. It's $14, and it'll be available throughout December, should you need to try one or several. [UD]
DOWNTOWN CROSSING — Speaking of obscene and amazing fried things, UrbanDaddy also reports that jm Curley is offering fried clam chowder fritters at the moment. Get them through the 21st (that's this Saturday). [UD]
