A new restaurant called Maru could open in the space recently vacated by Osushi at Copley, reports the Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog, via a licensing hearing agenda. The manager listed on the agenda, Kuotai Jack Huang, owns Douzo and Basho, two Japanese restaurants in town. In Japanese, "maru" means "circle" or "round," and on the internet, Maru is an adorable Scottish fold cat, one of the biggest YouTube cat celebrities.
