Le Creuset has been releasing a nice series of videos of "the intersection of chefs and the producers that inspire them," and Ana Sortun (Oleana, Sofra, Sarma) and Chris Kurth (Siena Farms) appear in the latest installment. They probably share a bit of a closer relationship than the other duos highlighted in the series — they're married, and the farm is named for their daughter Siena.
"There's a lot of intensity to both of our jobs, and because I'm passionate about my job, I understand Chris' passion for his job," says Sortun in the video. "If Chris' profession was something that was more of a job and not such a passion, I think it wouldn't be as good of a fit, but we both love what we do so much and there are so many similarities, even though the businesses are very different."
