Bit by bit, the multiple giant developments along Route 9 in Chestnut Hill are coming together. As previously reported, Seasons 52 and Brio Tuscan Grille will open next week at Chestnut Hill Square, and now another grill with an 'e' is opening at the end of the month. Del Frisco's Grille, a more casual sibling to the swanky Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse in the Seaport, is coming to The Street Chestnut Hill on November 30th.
The website lures customers in with a punny (groan) command to "Meat Up, Drink Up," and the menu includes ample instructions for how diners should eat food from each section ("Two-Fisted Sandwiches," "Knife & Fork.") On that menu: cheesesteak eggrolls, red velvet Belgian waffles, wood oven flatbreads, and other comfort foods. And each of the restaurant's 10 locations has some regional specialties as well, so Chestnut Hill will have dishes like East Coast fish tacos and a lobster roll. To drink, there are cocktails and shots with names like The Kilt Lifter and The Honey Badger.
