Jason Bond is having a busy 48 hours. His Cambridge restaurant, Bondir, celebrated its third anniversary yesterday — and the new Concord location by the same name officially opened last night as well. And today is Bond's own birthday, so hopefully he'll have a little time to relax and enjoy. Somebody get the man some cake.
Like its Cambridge counterpart, Bondir Concord's menu changes daily to reflect what's available in the local food world. No sample menus have been shared yet, but an early Yelp review mentions lobster, a skate wing, chicken galantine, and pasta with ricotta and mushrooms. (PSA: Sure, that little "First to Review" badge is snazzy, but maybe don't review restaurants that literally just opened.)
While the Cambridge location is cozy and intimate (read: small), Concord is open and airy, seating 100. There's also a 13-seat bar, a pizza oven, and spirits (Cambridge just has beer and wine.) Bondir Concord is open for dinner from 5pm to 10pm every day except Tuesday, and the bar remains open until 11pm.
