ATLANTIC WHARF — Nebo has just introduced weekday lunch, available between 11:30am and 2pm Monday through Friday. The focus is on seven "spuckies" served on ciabatta (think meatballs with gravy and cheese or beer-battered fish with slaw and spicy aioli). There are also antipasti, salads, and other light meals. Additionally, a small menu will be available between lunch and dinner on weekdays, featuring pizza, salads, and zucchini lasagna. [Press Release]
CAMBRIDGE — Tomorrow night, an event dubbed "OverKill" takes place at the Cambridge Boat Club, featuring 13 chefs, 3 bartenders, and 12 courses. Spearheaded by Brian Mercury and Mary Dumont of Harvest, the dinner will raise funds for Lovin' Spoonfuls, a local organization that rescues food from being discarded and distributes it where it is most needed. Tickets are $150 and can be purchased online. [Eventbrite]
SOMERVILLE — Boston Magazine takes a look at Taza Chocolate, one of "Boston's most relied-upon restaurant purveyors," for its Supply Chain column. Many restaurants around town feature Taza in desserts (or elsewhere on the menu), like Island Creek Oyster Bar and Eastern Standard, where pastry chef Lauren Kroesser was gradually won over by the chocolate's grittiness.
