Name a Crepe; Show Off Your Coquito Skills

UNION SQUARE — Do you make the best coquito? (Do you know what coquito is? If not, you've been missing out — it's a Puerto Rican eggnog-like drink, typically made with coconut milk and served around Christmas.) Casa B is hosting a Coquito Masters qualifier this Sunday, November 17th, at 2pm, and winners will move on to a bigger competition put on by the International Coquito Federation. Register by emailing coquitomasters@gmail.com, and get ready to make some coquito. [Official Source]

COOLIDGE CORNER — Paris Creperie would like customers to help come up with witty names for several crepes, including one with gorgonzola and one with mixed vegetables. Winners will get a free crepe and "possibly a permanent spot on the Paris Creperie's new menu board." [BostInno]

SOUTH BOSTON — South Boston could get an Italian restaurant called Sobo Bistro, a 60-seat space right next to Tasty Burger (in which Sobo owner Michael Norton is an investor). Tomorrow, Norton goes before the board in hopes of getting a beer and wine license but plans to open with or without one. [UHub]
