A new pizza place has opened in a space that used to house another pizza place, The Proper Slice, and another pizza place before that, The Upper Crust. The new tenant, Dirty Water Dough Company, is so named thanks to the beer in the pizza dough, the restaurant tells Eater. The beer is an IPA that Gloucester-based Cape Ann Brewing Company custom-made for the shop, and it's also available on tap, along with some other local brews.
As for the pizza, it's got some fun toppings; one option has Fenway franks and Grillos relish, while another has mac and cheese — complete with Ritz crackers and Cheez-Its. Also available: salads and sandwiches. Stuff your face full of "Big Papi" slices and more from 10am to 10pm Sunday through Thursday and 10am to 11pm Friday and Saturday.
