Sarma is open to the public tonight and taking reservations on OpenTable and by phone (617-764-4464), according to sister restaurant Oleana, via Twitter. "Get your meyhane on!" (A meyhane, says the OpenTable description, is a Turkish winehouse, and Sarma is "a fun and funky neighborhood restaurant" in the style of one.)
Chowhound and Twitter chatter reveals that the restaurant was open for friends and family last night, and the beef jerky with date molasses is the "best ever," according to Theresa Paopao of Ribelle. Sarma focuses on meze (small plates) inspired by Turkey and beyond. Here's bar manager Vik Hegde with details on the drink program.
