The owner of the creatively named Newbury Street creperie The Creperie has just opened a patisserie and specialty market — the also creatively named Patisserie on Newbury. French breads, croissants, tarts, and cakes are all baked on site in the tiny space. A small deli-counter offers French cheeses and made to order sandwiches to go, and there is a small coffee bar as well. Unusual for a Back Bay restaurant, no frozen yogurt is available.
