KENDALL SQUARE — When Area Four's A4 Truck launched last spring, it brought with it promises of piadini, Italian flatbread-style sandwiches. It has been fulfilling those promises with a variety of meats, cheeses, and other fillings for months, but the time has come for the piadini to be retired. This Friday, November 1st, will be their last day, and a new treat will appear next season. [Press Release]
BROOKLINE — Because everyone loves beer and froyo, there's now a beer-flavored froyo on the menu at 16 Handles. The limited-edition flavor, Oktoberfest Stout, apparently "pairs deliciously with peanuts." [Metro]
BROOKLINE — Anna's Taqueria's monthly celebrity burrito-rolling series continues tonight from 6pm to 8pm at the Harvard St. location. Rachel Cossar, a local food blogger and dancer with the Boston Ballet, will be rolling $10 burritos. All proceeds go to the Ballet's Young Partners program, a membership group of young supporters of the ballet. [Official Site]
