With Game 2 of the World Series taking place at home in Boston tonight, there's a surplus of Fenway-themed listicles and press releases making their way into the Eater Boston inbox. Here's a duo of lists to help diners choose where to eat near the game — or, perhaps more importantly, where to eat not near the game. (See also: Eater Boston's Stadium Dining Guide for Fenway Park.)

TripAdvisor sent along its top seven restaurants and bars near Fenway Park (which itself is currently ranked the fourth best attraction in Boston). From best to seventh best, at least in the eyes of TripAdvisor users: Island Creek Oyster Bar, Eastern Standard, Bleacher Bar, Boston Beer Works, Petit Robert Bistro, The Lansdowne Pub, and Cask 'n Flagon.

Meanwhile, BostInno takes a somewhat opposite approach and rounds up 11 bars to watch the game while staying as far away as possible from the actual game. On the list: Coolidge Corner Clubhouse, Blarney Stone, the Tip Tap Room, and more.
