FENWAY — "During each game of the Fall Classic played at Fenway Park, hungry Red Sox fans are expected to eat 15,000 Fenway Franks, 3,000 Cups of Clam Chowder, 500 Lobster Rolls, 400 Pounds of Shrimp." It sounds like an order, so fans should probably get started on those 15,000 franks now. The press release provides details on Fenway Park's menu for the coming days, from expanded availability of lobster rolls and clam chowder to more exorbitant options like surf 'n' turf in "premium dining areas." UNION SQUARE — After their successful first Texas-themed pop-up event, Josh Lewin (Beacon Hill Hotel and Bistro) and Katrina Jazayeri (Belly Wine Bar, Cuisine En Locale) are collaborating again, this time for a one-morning-only breakfast taco extravaganza at the Kitchen Inc. space in Somerville. It'll take place at 9am on Saturday, November 16th and run until noon (or until sold out). Tacos are $3 each, and the options include migas; bacon, egg, and cheese; and potato, egg, and cheese. Sides ($2) include rice and beans, chips and salsa, and guacamole. [Press Release]
BROOKLINE — Boston Magazine takes a behind-the-scenes peek at a morning at Clear Flour Bakery in Brookline. It's not just any morning, but a morning of preparation for the bakery's annual German Week, which involves making additional baked goods like apfelstreusel, kaiser rolls, and soft pretzels. [BM]
