Doughnuts and Coffee Pop-Up; Truffle Watch

KENDALL SQUARE — This Sunday, October 20th, there's a one-off doughnut and coffee pop-up at Voltage Coffee in Kendall Square from noon until 6pm. Well, there's always coffee there, but the doughnuts are special. Voltage owner Lucy Valena is collaborating with a chef and bartender from jm Curley, Chris Bauers and Daren Swisher. Doughnut flavors include mai tai, Mexican hot chocolate, and apple cider bacon, plus a couple of others. [Twitter]

HUB-WIDE — White truffle season has begun. Several local restaurants spread the word via social media today that they have some in their possession, so head over to Bistro du Midi, Deuxave, and O Ya if you're looking for them. [Twitter, Instagram]
