80s Zombie Prom; Seaport Hotel Groundbreaking

SOUTH END — Here's one way to celebrate Halloween: an 80s-themed zombie prom (costumes definitely welcome). From 5:30pm until closing on the 31st, The Beehive (rather, The "Boohive") is throwing an undead shindig with a performance by 80s cover band SAFETY and dinner and drink specials. There's no cover, but dinner reservations are recommended. [Official Site]

POWDER HOUSE SQUARE — The Broken Yolk closed earlier this week, and a new restaurant will take its place within the next couple of months. Noor Mediterranean Grill will serve dishes like falafel and shawarma. [BRT]

SEAPORT DISTRICT — The 136-room Envoy Hotel breaks ground later this month at 66 Sleeper St. The $42-million project is expected to include a restaurant as well as a roof deck with a bar and lounge. [BBJ]
