The third restaurant by Oleana and Sofra chef-owner Ana Sortun should open by June, reports Grub Street. Sortun, who won the 2005 "Best Chef: Northeast" award from the James Beard Foundation and who appeared on Top Chef Masters, also tells Grub Street that her new restaurant, headed for what was previoulsy The Paddock, will feature "Russian-style" (passed) service and will be more casual than "sceney." Sortun says she "had been looking for quite a while, and we enjoy being part of these other little neighborhoods, off the beaten path, where people actually live." For the yet-unnamed restaurant, Sortun will once again be teaming up with Sofra co-owner Gary Griffin, Oleana chef de cuisine Cassie Piuma and Matt Piuma, as previously reported.
Update: a representative notes that the upcoming restaurant is not only Ana Sortun's restaurant but a partnership between the parties mentioned above. Also, Sortun's husband is not involved, as was previously written.
