Rino's Place in East Boston temporarily went dark on August 13 but will emerge rejuvenated from a bout of renovations on September 12. Rino's is just a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant except for the fact that it's been featured on Guy Fieri's Food Network show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, which has had a positive effect on business to say the least.
According to Facebook, the restaurant posted news of its reopening after receiving the following email: "hey, maybeyou should throw a note on your webpage that your building is ripped apart so fools wont drive to east boston? thanks asshole" At this time it is unclear whether Prima e Dopo, the sister bar across the street that seems to have been created to help absorb the throngs, is currently open or temporarily closed as well.
