Giulia Plans Mid-October Opening in Rafiki Bistro Space

News that a restaurant called Giulia affiliated with Radius alum and Via Matta chef Michael Pagliarini would replace the shuttered Rafiki Bistro has been circulating since last month, and now Chowder has some details to throw into the mix. For starters, yes, that's totally what's happening. What's more, the 70-seat restaurant will be a pasta temple. Says Chowder: "The main focus will be pasta—an entire table will be devoted to making all different varieties from scratch during the day, and will serve as a chef's table during the evening." There will also be a full bar and Italian wines only. Expect a mid-October opening.
