Are You Sitting Down? Belly Wine Bar Opens on Monday

One of the fall season's most hotly anticipated openings is happening this coming Monday, September 10, when Belly Wine Bar in Kendall Square throws open its doors. Belly was recently included on Eater's list of the ten most anticipated fall openings in Boston. That's because it comes from the creators of The Blue Room and Central Bottle, which means that the wine and cheese selections should be solid to say the least. Belly tweeted the news earlier today, writing "Opening for reals on monday 9/10!!" Belly is nearly adjacent to its big brother: directions read "down the steps to the blue room and turn left."

The new wine bar was previously accepting reservations but appears to no longer be doing so, however the Belly website provides a glimpse of what those lucky diners will get: "Cracklings, Housemade Pickles, Smoked Ham & Tomato Panzanella, Zampone- Bolognese Inspired Pigs Trotters, Pork Sausage, Lentils, Whole Roasted Pork Shoulder, Grits, Corn on the Cob, Braised Cabbage, Kohlrabi & Turnip Salad, PIE!"
