Spoke Wine Bar Snags Former No. 9 Park Chef

When Spoke Wine Bar opens next to Dave's Fresh Pasta in Davis Square, former No. 9 Park executive sous chef John daSilva will helm the kitchen as head chef. And that's a big deal, what with Barbara Lynch's No. 9 Park being one of the best-known and most highly decorated restaurants in town. Spoke Wine Bar shares that news via Facebook, where it writes "John is excited to showcase local farms and producers in a casual, neighborhood setting" and notes that he recently spent six months farming in Concord. The wine bar has yet to share an opening date besides "coming soon." Davis Square has been anticipating its new wine bar for over a year.
