The Metropolitan Club in Chestnut Hill has brought on Cory Williams as chef de cuisine. Most recently, Williams was chef de cuisine at the Navy Yard Bistro in Charlestown, and prior to that, he worked his way up from grill cook at Blu to sous chef at Salts, which was recently highlighted by the Globe's Devra First as one of Boston's ten most underrated restaurants. President and Owner of the Met Restaurant Group, Kathy Sidell, declares that Williams' "experience is the perfect match for our modern meets tradition approach and his hardworking ethic is unparalleled." Want to eat like Williams? His current favorite dish on the menu is the porcini-crusted rib-eye with smashed cauliflower gratin. Autumn is truly here.
