Harvard Osushi Shoots for Early October

The upcoming Harvard Square expansion of Back Bay's Osushi plans to open by the first week of October, says The Harvard Crimson. Osushi is headed for the former Conga space and will serve more than just sushi. "We can finally present real Japanese entrees, meat and noodle dishes, and elegant savory options," says Tim Panagopoulos, who owns the original location and who is a partner in this one as well. Expect "minimalist furniture, dark wood tables, and two bars" and a 2am closing time. According to the article, the restaurant will simply be called Osushi rather than Osushi Cambridge, as a license transfer previously indicated.
