Last week Counter Culture Coffee opened a new regional training center in Union Square, not far from the soon-to-be home of the highly anticipated Tim and Bronwyn Wiechmann restaurant Bronwyn. Once again, this is not a coffeeshop, but a barista breeding ground where the coffee company, which already supplies several coffee nerd hotspots around town, can train local professionals and amateurs alike. The center will also host classes, cuppings and other events. The Somerville facility joins the ranks of others already in Asheville, Charlotte, and Durham, NC, Atlanta, New York City, DC and Chicago. Take a look around.
