New Fall Dishes at Trade; North Opens in Providence

WATERFRONT - Jody Adams adds in some new fall dishes at Trade, such as local burrata (with roasted pears, sweet onion jam, and squash oil) and fried dough (with parmesan, prosciutto and anchovies), the latter of which sounds like a fun twist on carnival food. [Official Source]

CLEVELAND CIRCLE - A $75 million development that would include a hotel as well as residential, retail, and office space is in the works for an area that includes the abandoned Circle Cinema and Applebee's, but residents aren't thrilled by the size of the project and presented arguments to Boston's redevelopment authority at a packed meeting yesterday. PROVIDENCE - James Mark, an alum of Momofuku, has recently opened a new restaurant called north, featuring dishes such as chicken in a chicken (black pepper gravy, Chinese broccoli, rice) for 2-3 people, spicy chicharrones (lemon peel, chile pepper, black pepper), and a pork and clam bowl to share (coconut milk, peanuts, fermented shrimp).
