Peek Inside What Might Be Jason Santos' New Restaurant

Piecing together information from Jason Santos' July interview with Eater and a job posting on Craigslist yesterday, it's looking like the old Dominic's Restaurant & Lounge space at 255 Tremont St. could possibly be Santos' newest venture, tentatively dubbed XYZ, at least as of July. (Possible historical foreshadowing: in the 1960s, the address was home to a place called Jay's Lounge, according to an old report from the Committee on Government Reform.)

Whether or not this is the address of which Santos spoke, this space is definitely becoming a new restaurant, based on yesterday's job posting. Construction appears to be in the early stages; some lights are installed, but at the very least, it'll need a brand new floor. The brick exterior, newly let out of the shadows by the removal of the former Dominic's awning, features large floor-to-ceiling windows that open to the sidewalk.
