Sustainable Seafood Gala; New Life for Morton's Space?

BACK BAY - The former Morton's space on Boylston - which went dark back in January - could potentially become home to a new restaurant, reports UniversalHUB. The landlord's lawyer says that one possible outcome of a settlement regarding unpaid rent is for "Morton's to hand the license over to the landlord, which would then attempt to find a new restaurant tenant." CAMBRIDGE - Now who doesn't want to go to a dumpling festival? The First Annual Festival of Dumplings comes to Central Square
in honor of chef Joyce Chen, who once owned a restaurant here. Dumplings will be sold for a buck in front of restaurants like Pu Pu Hotpot, The Asgard and Thelonius Monkfish from 1pm to 3pm tomorrow, September 15. [Official Site]

SEAPORT DISTRICT - A ton of Boston chefs including Brandon Arms of Garden at the Cellar, Dante de Magistris of dante and Louis DiBiccari of Storyville will be teaming up with the Boston Fisheries Foundation for a fundraiser called the Sustainable Seafood Gala.
