Jamaica Plain's Purple Cactus, a thirteen-year-old California-style burrito and wrap shop, will be getting an interior redesign over the next few months, according to an Eater tipster. Architect Lennard Roberts will head the renovation, meant to improve the flow of the dining room; the menu and concept will likely stay the same. Roberts has previously worked on other Boston-area restaurants, including Stoddard's. Prior to its Centre Street location, the Purple Cactus originated in Provincetown with a small menu of burritos, guacamole, and salsa. The move to JP brought about an expansion of the menu, which now includes quesadillas, soups, salads, and other foods inspired by owner/chef Marie O'Shea's early career on the West Coast.
