Cannolo Robbery at Bova's; Harold McGee at Harvard

NORTH END - Bova's Bakery, one of Boston's few places to find food 24 hours a day, was robbed this morning. An Irish traveler just a few hours into a two week vacation has been charged with "stealing a cannoli at knifepoint," reports UniversalHUB. [UH]

DOWNTOWN - Salvatore's is rolling out a new fall cocktail lineup including one inspired by a meme. The "Mean Ol' Honey Badger" (not the area's first honey badger cocktail, mind you) combines spiced rum, lemon juice, honey syrup and hard cider. What, no snake guts and poison?
