CAMBRIDGE - John Harvard's reopens today after closing for the summer for renovations. The menu has been tweaked and the brewing equipment has been upgraded in time for the restaurant's twentieth birthday. New for the reopening: a Belgian tripel style beer called Tripel Bottom Line. [Official Site]
NORTHEASTERN - A new restaurant called Kigo Kitchen has opened on the NU campus and features better sounding food than most of what you'll find on any campus. In fact, it even sounds better than all the other venues that claim to have better-than-average campus food. Thrillist has the details. [Thrillist]
ARLINGTON/CAMBRIDGE - The Arlington coffee roaster Barismo turns four on Monday and will celebrate with free shots of espresso at the roastery (169 Mass Ave, Arlington) and a cold-brew coffee tasting flight ($3) at its Cambridge coffeeshop dwelltime for the whole week (or until the taps run dry). For details on more events to mark the occasion, see here. [Official Site]
