Happy's Bar + Kitchen has a revamped menu that officially launches today. See below for that. Happy's opened back in May and, as with many new restaurants, has experienced some bumps in the road including less than ideal reviews and a chef shuffle. Time will tell if the new menu helps the restaurant match the excitement caused by news of its opening, which was largely stoked by the fact that one of Boston's biggest chefs was doing something unlike any of his previous restaurants (Italian... South American... Happy Land!). Michael Schlow also runs Radius and Tico and will be involved with the new restaurant for the upcoming Harvard Square music venue The Sinclair. A rep tells Eater that the biggest change to the Happy's menus is the addition of 25 new small plates like fried oysters with Sriracha remoulade and warm pastrami served with with napa cabbage, potatoes, grain mustard and caraway.
