It appears as though Steve's Greek Cuisine on Newbury Street may not be closed after all, at least not for good. A tipster reports that the restaurant's owner says he hopes to reopen in roughly one month after renovations are complete. Why the lengthy delay? Apparently Steve's ran into some red tape over the size of the restroom and the space's compliance with code regarding facilities for patrons with disabilities. But don't try to go now: it's totally still closed for the time being. Another glimmer of hope: Urbanspoon has changed the restaurant's status to "closed temporarily" from the more damning "permanently closed" listed earlier. Got a tip of your own? Hit up the tipline!
