DOWNTOWN - The Kickass Cupcakes truck was out of commission today due to a "meltdown" of the battery that runs the truck's kitchen. Owner Sarah Ross tells Eater that she hopes to hit Dewey Square by tomorrow afternoon, and failing that plans to get back to the regular schedule by Thursday at the latest. [EBOS]

INMAN SQUARE - The All Star Sandwich Bar shares some prestigious company on Fox News/Gayot's new list of "Top 10 Cheap Eats Restaurants."
