M.F. Dulock Pasture-Raised Meats, Somerville's upcoming independent butcher shop, will open next week. UrbanDaddy shares that news, anticipating an opening date of September 4. The shop will be located near the Armory on Highland Ave, roughly between Davis Square and Union Square, and will feature the kind of top-notch animal flesh described by all the cool meat words these days: whole-animal, locally-raised, hormone-free and antibiotic-free. Owner Michael Dulock previously told Eater that he'd be soft-opening for his supporters before the official start date. Dulock formerly owned and operated Concord Prime & Fish in Concord.
