BROOKLINE - What was once the Circle Cinema could one day be a new restaurant. The Herald reports that the Boston Development Group wants to turn the site into "a mix of a 181-room hotel, 82 apartments, medical offices and retail space that could include a large restaurant." That would also mean goodbye to the on-site Applebee’s. [BH]
THE CAPE - Here's the good news: Lyon native and former executive pastry chef for Daniel Boulud Rèmy Fünfrock is coming! Here's the less ideal news: he's headed for the Cape. A rep for the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in Chatham says the renowned chef will soon take up residence there.
