Hoppy IPA Day! Bukowski and Others Celebrate

Today's a good day for "days." It's National Ice Cream Sandwich Day (did you get your free ice cream sandwich yet?), and it's IPA Day, "a collective toast to one of craft beer’s most iconic styles: the India Pale Ale."

The Cambridge location of Bukowski Tavern is getting in on the fun tonight with a long list of IPAs (Brash Bullocks, Victory Hop Wallop, Heavy Seas Loose Cannon, and more), plus "samples and schwag" from Goose Island and Lagunitas. Over at Whole Foods River Street (in Cambridge), Backlash Beer Co. will be sampling Declaration, a Belgian-style IPA, from 6 PM to 8 PM.
